Forget reality, waking up is hard to do.

His eyes shot open, the veins on the surface flowing deep crimson blood throughout them, his pupils severely dilated. He was sleeping for the past few hours, trying to get some rest from the long day he'd always endured. -- The depressing atmosphere of his room wasn't exactly helping him all these years. It was starting to really get to him more and more each day. -- But suddenly he was awoke, experiencing a sensation he'd recognized before; One that wasn't one he was too fond of being so familiar with. Muscles contracting harder and harder each second, it felt like if it carried on for much longer, the muscles within his chest would stop contracting at all. His chest was ripping apart at the seams, and his left arm wouldn't budge. His right arm was clutching the skin on the left side of his chest, almost trying to rip away at it. The pain grew more and more, almost like it was an indefinite limit. His body started to go numb, each limb beginning to relax instead of tensing up more, and his eyes began to roll slightly. He couldn't see straight, even if he wanted to. The messages traveling through every nerve in his system was beginning to grow more severe, and he was succumbing to it's call. His eyelids began to slowly slide shut, and his right arm's grip loosened, and fell to it's side. The pain slowly began to grow distant, and he was beginning to not feel it anymore; He was beginning not to feel /anything/ anymore. His eyes glazed over with an empty expression, and the muscles within his chest stopped contracting. The deep crimson blood traveling through his veins seemed to halt almost, and his skin began to pale. All that was left was the darkness surrounding him, and the empty silence he was enveloped in...
