He had been trying to figure out what to do with himself for a while. In his mind, he had only a couple things planned. College, job, and being in his brother's band; Nothing to do with specific places to move or anything, and that was unsettling. He couldn't get a job or anything unless he had a place to stay. He had started hunting down places to live online, looking at real estate magazines and newspapers, but didn't really want something in the area. He was tired of the state he had grown up in most of his life, though it was familiar to him; And he really wasn't too impressed with the idea of staying in Canada, being a legal US Citizen, not Canadian...
He decided to look around northern Tennessee, Kentucky, and even so much as the western side of Virginia. Anywhere with nice open land, but still not any more than a 10-15 minute drive to an urban area. This way, he could get his own house designed and built, but still be close to town if he needed anything...
But while he was looking at lots of land to buy, he realized. He has money for a house, but not a full-size lot of land. He would need a job, and he needs a place to stay before he could get a job... He sighed again, and looked over on the desk. He had his phone on the desk, and considered calling a couple friends to find out where to stay until he could afford a place. He picked it up, and decided to look through his directory, and noticed the first name on the list... It was a tempting choice, and he wondered if it was even a possibility...
He decided to call, and waited for an answer... If he could stay with anyone temporarily, and get a job, he knew that she would be the best choice to stay with... After all, he was going to be with her in the end anyway. That was what he had decided...
And after all, the reason he made plans for his future, was her... She was the reason.
